Origin of Zen
Zen is a school of Mahayana Buddhism that originated in China during the Tang Dynasty as Chan Buddhism and developed as a distinguished school of Chinese Buddhism.
Central to Zen is the practice of Dhyana or Meditation concentrating the Breath & Mind of the practitioner to bring Wisdom & Wellbeing.

About Renee Lu
Born in Dalian China in 1971, Renee has been teaching Restorative Yoga and learning Chinese Medicine for over 20 years, starting in China in 2001 by studying Yoga in Beijing with the Indian Guru Amit Amya, Yogprakash.
Specialising in Restorative Yoga, Renee began teaching at the Dalian University of the Third Age in 2005 providing classes for retired ex Government employees until 2014 when she moved to England. Classes were also held at several Hotels around the Dalian area.
During this period and before, Renee studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Therapies in various institutions and hospitals around China gaining a great deal of knowledge, particularly therapeutic massage techniques and Taoist Qi.
